Out of Hours Staffing Coordinator

Location: Remote

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Shifts: Evenings & Weekends, varying shift patterns

We’re looking for enthusiastic, organised and motivated individuals to join our growing team supporting our out of hours service.

Working Hours

This is a fully home-based role, working varying shift patterns across our out-of-hours service:

• Monday to Friday: 5pm - 10pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 7am - 10pm
• Shifts will be worked on a rota basis within these hours.

What will you be doing?

• Managing incoming calls and urgent staffing requests.
• Booking healthcare professionals into available shifts.
• Responding quickly to last-minute cancellations and arranging replacement cover.
• Proactively contacting available staff to fill outstanding shifts.
• Supporting recruitment and maintaining a strong pool of available healthcare workers.
• Working closely with our operational teams to ensure services have the staffing support they need.

What we’re looking for

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Someone who can think on their feet and work well under pressure.
• A proactive, can-do attitude.
• Confidence using computer systems and managing multiple priorities.
• Previous experience in healthcare staffing, recruitment or bookings would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
