Jane Lewis is recruiting for a Deputy Children’s Service Manager to join a busy 6-bed residential children’s service based in South Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and committed individual who is looking to take the next step in their career within children’s residential care.
About the Role
As Deputy Children’s Service Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, helping to ensure the highest standards of care and support are delivered to children and young people. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and structured environment while promoting positive outcomes for the children in your care.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years experience working in a children’s residential setting
- A Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification, with willingness to work towards Level 5, or already hold a Level 5 qualification
- A full UK driving licence
- Good knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the 9 quality standards
- Experience supporting children with mental health needs and challenging behaviours
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people
