Healthcare Support Worker Reference: HSW/ChesterLeStreet/5 Payrates: From £14.56 to £31.20 35-hour contract – permanent You must have a Full UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle due to the remote location of this role We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a Support Worker to join a dedicated team of staff working with a young man with cerebral palsy within his home and in the community. As a Support Worker you will be providing personalised care, assisting with daily activities, and supporting the individual’s participation in community activities to enhance his quality of life. Key responsibilities as a Support Worker: Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care. Help with mobility, including transferring and positioning. Assist with medication administration as directed. PEG feeding, Accompany and support the individual in community activities and social outings. Encourage participation in recreational and therapeutic activities. Maintain a clean and safe living environment. Training will be provided for this role What we need from you as a Healthcare Support Worker: We cannot accept anyone who requires Sp0ns0rship Education and Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Relevant training or certification in healthcare support. Skills: Compassionate and patient focused. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
