The aim being to ensure the physical, social and emotional well-being of the children/young people are met and to assist in their positive holistic development and resilience.
As a Residential Support Worker we can offer you:
- Day Shifts: 8am – 8pm
- Night Shifts: 8pm – 8am
- Some sleep ins required
- Comprehensive free training
- Weekly Pay
- An enhanced DBS check
As a Residential Support Worker, you must:
- Be over the age of 18 to apply
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be a UK resident, we are unable to offer sponsorship
- Up to 6 month’s experience within a healthcare setting
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Use own initiative when required
- A Full UK Driving Licence (desirable)
- Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce (desirable)
- Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
- An understanding of the needs of looked after young people
- An understanding of the principles of safeguarding and child protection
- Effective and accurate reporting, recording and administrative skills
- An understanding of intervention strategies
