Are you a compassionate individual looking to make a difference in people’s lives? We are looking for a Family Support Worker in Heswall.
As a Family Support Worker, you will be working in a parenting assessment unit supporting residents to be parents to their children. You will be working with parents who may have additional needs such as Autism, ASD, ADHD, poor mental health, substance concerns and other learning needs.
As a Family Support Worker, we can offer you:
- Nights - 12-hour shifts (8:30pm - 8:45am)
- Days – 12-hour shifts (8:30am – 8:45pm)
- £12.30 per hour (holiday pay inclusive)
- Weekly Pay
- 24/7 support from our branch team

What we need from you as a Family Support Worker:
- Be over the age of 18 to apply
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be a UK resident; we are unable to offer sponsorship
- To have 6 months prior experience in a healthcare setting
- To have previous experience with children as young as 5 years
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
- To be confident in relation to intervention skills to safeguard and meet the welfare of children and vulnerable adults
- To understand children’s rights, diversity and have previous experience with conflict resolution
- Have knowledge regarding issues impacting on children and families such as domestic abuse, learning needs, mental health, drug and alcohol misuse
- To have knowledge in respect of childcare development
- Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities
- Have a genuine passion for working in the healthcare sector
