I am pleased to be working exclusively with this fantastic local business, who are currently looking to recruit a full-time Quotations/ Office Administrator to work within their offices based in Wythenshawe. This is a great chance to join a friendly and dynamic business. This will suit someone who prefers to work for smaller teams and have a real camaraderie with all colleagues.

Working within a dynamic team, the individual will be responsible for administering the quotation process from receipt to submission. This will involve collating the technical information, processing costings and quotations. The Quotation Administrator will work very closely with the Sales Team and Directors (on a daily basis) to field queries, analyse requirements, consult on solutions and produce the submission.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Liaise with new and existing clients on incoming enquiries for quotes
  • Review and process incoming client information, using the in house MRP system to import data.
  • Communicate directly with the Client to obtain any missing information or clarification on incoming information.
  • Work on the timely completion of Client quotations, including liaising with the supply chain to obtain best pricing and stock availability.
  • Offer assistance to Production Team Manager & purchasing dept if required.
  • Successfully complete Training on the CRM system, full training will be provided on site.
  • Ad hoc activities when necessary.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, coordinating with Production, QC, and Clients alike.

Skills:

  • Strong keyboard / IT skills with experience in MS Office packages such as Word, Excel, Access, Power-point and SharePoint
  • Intermediate Excel essential
  • Working in a manufacturing business would be a benefit
  • Able to work accurately and methodically under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills.
