Are you a part time Credit Controller looking for 24 hours a week? I am working with a growing building services business based in Oldham to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy team. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role will be responsible for:
- Responsibility and accountability for managing customer accounts by proactively chasing customers for payments by telephone and email.
- Meet or exceed cash collection targets and reduction of the debtors ledger.
- Ensure resolution of customer queries by liaising with the business and customers.
- Accurate reconciliation of customer accounts, by keeping ledgers tidy, ensuring write-off journals, unallocated cash and duplicate accounts are actioned.
- Cash allocation and ledger reconciliations.
The successful candidates should demonstrate:
- Extensive experience of credit control in a business-to-business environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise daily tasks.
- Good oral and written communication skills. Able to communicate at all levels face to face and by telephone.
- Professional manner when dealing with customers.
- Good problem solving skills and able to use your own initiative.
In return the business can offer a starting salary of up to 30K pro rata with free parking. Hours are negotiable but ideally the role will be part time with 3 full days in the office or four shorter days (to include Mondays).
