We are recruiting for an experienced Service Desk Administrator to join a well-established and growing business.

The Role

As the first point of contact for customers, you'll be responsible for ensuring service requests are managed efficiently from start to finish.

Working closely with engineers and internal departments, you'll ensure all jobs are planned effectively whilst maintaining excellent communication throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate all new service calls promptly to field engineers.
  • Effectively schedule and coordinate engineers' workloads to maximise efficiency.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates on job progress and arrival times.
  • Raise and process service jobs accurately on the internal system.
  • Liaise with engineers regarding attendance, job completion and any changes to schedules.
  • Ensure all paperwork and service documentation is completed accurately.
  • Prioritise urgent breakdowns and respond quickly to changing workloads.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at every stage of the process.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure service KPIs are achieved.

About You

You'll ideally have

  • Previous experience working within a Service Desk, Service Coordinator, Helpdesk, Scheduling or Customer Service environment.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
  • The ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a busy environment.
  • Good IT skills and experience using CRM or service management systems.
  • High attention to detail and excellent administrative skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
