The Jancett Group is a long-established family-focused organisation offering high-quality childcare, wrap-around care, and professional training across Surrey and the Southeast. Our Jancett Childcare nurseries provide nurturing, “home-from-home” early years education for children aged 0–5, delivered across community-based settings in Wallington and Carshalton.
The Role
They are looking for Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years practitioners to provide high-quality care and education for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting their learning, development, and well-being in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. Our settings are open 7.30am until 6.30pm. Rachel, our Recruitment Lead can guide you through the process and discuss the best working patterns we have to support that work/life balance.
Positions:
- Level 2 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30am-6:30pm (Babies)
- Level 2- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30am-6:30pm (Babies)
- Level 3- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30am-6:30pm (Toddlers)
- Level 3- Monday- Friday 10am- 2pm Half terms
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging activities based on the EYFS framework.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support each child’s development.
- Tailor activities and approaches to meet individual developmental needs, including SEND.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver a high-quality curriculum.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in all areas used.
Qualifications and Experience
- Level 2/3 childcare qualification - required
