The role of a Sports Teacher is to oversee and enhance the delivery of post-16 education programs within Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and student outcomes, while also managing resources and staff effectively across the allocated district(s), including monitoring and promoting inclusion to ensure equitable outcomes for all students and staff.
Key Accountabilities- Model outstanding teaching practice and meet teaching standards consistently.
- Promote inclusion, ensuring equitable outcomes for all students and staff.
- Provide strategic leadership to post-16 tutors and support staff.
- Report regularly to the Deputy Principal and represent the organisation externally.
- Oversee student welfare, behaviour, attendance, and achievement.
