JamPot Productions is hiring a full time Assistant Producer to join their team, working across all current productions including Nearly Parents, Great Company and Wednesdays.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting producers with end-to-end production, including:
  • Uploading episodes to Acast & YouTube
  • Writing guest briefs and episode descriptions
  • Suggesting conversation topics & researching guests and news
  • Liaising with guests to give them the best in-studio experience
  • Monitoring inboxes and selecting listeners messages
  • Supporting on writing ads and sponsorship scripts
  • Timecoding during recordings
  • Sourcing props as needed for recordings
  • Working with team on development of new shows
  • Helping Studio Manager with studio upkeep

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role ideally in a comedy or entertainment environment
  • Experience working with talent
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Editing experience desired but not required (both audio and video desirable)
  • Good knowledge of podcasts, particularly entertainment and comedy
