Location – Hampshire Industry – Air Source Heat Pumps, ASHP’s, Ground Source Heat Pumps, GSHP\’s, Renewables, Domestic Heating Benefits – £40k-£50k, door to door, overtime, 42 hours a week, weekend rota, new van and tools. Candidate – Experienced domestic heating engineer, with hands on experience servicing, fault find and fix along with knowledge of heating and plumbing systems incorporating air source heat pumps. Plumbing and electrical training and/or rewiring heating controls with knowledge of refrigeration would be a benefit. FGAS training can be given. The Position This is a brand-new Service and Maintenance Engineer position that has been created due to unprecedented growth working for one of the largest renewable energy systems providers in the UK. As the Service & Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining air source heat pumps on residential housing projects both new build housing developments through housebuilders and social housing schemes, new build or retro fit, through local authorities and housing associations. Experience Required Due to the nature of the role you must have extensive experience in plumbing and heating either install, service and/or design of domestic or commercial unvented hot water systems incorporating heat pumps – either Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP\’s) or Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP\’s) or other renewable technologies such as solar PV, heat recovery, and underfloor heating. Furthermore, recognised industry training and further education qualifications such as City & Guilds plumbing and heating, BPEC, G3 unvented hot water systems, F-gas, boiler training, heat pumps and electrical training are an advantage but not as essential as hands on installation, service and maintenance experience on heat pumps and working with heating controls.
