Location – Reading Industry – Air Source Heat Pumps, ASHP’s, Ground Source Heat Pumps, GSHP’s, Renewables Benefits – New van, high pension contribution, further recognised training and very local region to cover (Berkshire / Wiltshire / Oxfordshire). Candidate – ASHP trained, Unvented hot water, excellent controls knowledge and good heating electrics ability. The Position This is a brand-new Service and Maintenance Eningeer position that has been created due to unprecedented growth working for one of the largest renewable energy systems providers in the UK. As the Service & Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining air source heat pumps on residential housing projects both new build housing developments through housebuilders and social housing schemes new build or retro fit, through local authorities and housing associations. The Package * £45k – £50k + overtime paid * Currently no weekend rota or call out. * Company van * Healthcare * Dental * Pension * Lunch allowance * Up to 27 days holiday + bank holidays * Industry recognised manufacturer training * Genuine potential for career advancement usually within 2 years. Experience Required Due to the nature of the role you must have extensive experience in plumbing and heating either install, service and/or design of domestic or commercial unvented hot water systems incorporating heat pumps – either Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP’s) or Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP’s). Furthermore, recognised industry training and further education qualifications such as City & Guilds plumbing and heating, BPEC, G3 unvented hot water systems, F-gas, boiler training, heat pumps, heating controls and electrical training are an advantage but not as essential as hands on installation, service and maintenance experience on heat pumps.
