Overview
Position - Senior Refrigeration AC Service Technician - £55k base salary 37hrs + £5k bonus + company car (no weekend rota)
Company - Large National M&E provider with a national team of Refrigeration Service Engineers, HVAC Service Engineers and Air Conditioning Service Engineers up to Senior, Supervisor and Technician level.
Location - Milton Keynes and Northampton sites (you must be located in a good commutable distance)
Industry - Commercial HVAC / Air conditioning / AC A/C / Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, VRV / VRF, Chillers, Heat Pumps, Refrigeration Circuits, Refrigerated Circuits, Refrigerant Circuits, Refrigeration Cycle Troubleshooting.
Desired Experience - Level 3 Refrigeration and Air conditioning, FGAS 2079 and hydrocarbons would be an advantage along with Small Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
Responsibilities
- A leading national mechanical engineering service provider seeks a Senior Refrigeration AC Service Technician to run their main two static sites in Milton Keynes and Northampton along with site-based / static Refrigeration Air Conditioning Service Engineers.
You will manage the teams giving a higher level of technical oversight on the most complex issues as they arise on site.
Experience Required / Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience servicing and troubleshooting HVAC systems, in particular refrigeration circuits.
- Strong fault finding and fixing capabilities.
- F-Gas 2079 CAT 1, hydrocarbons, refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications / certifications (Level 2 or Level 3) and manufacturer training (e. g., VRV / VRF servicing and fault finding) would be an advantage.
- Experience with Manufacturer Software Maintenance Tool is advantageous.
- Great teamwork and communication skills for client-facing and internal collaboration to service contracts and resolve faults quickly.
