Company - National Provider of Building Services for the Commercial Built Environment, namely HVAC, both heating and cooling with a product portfolio focused on sustainability and carbon reduction in the drive towards Net Zero.

Location - Bristol (hybrid home and office based split week).

Package - £50k - £60k + bonus, car/car allowance, health, pension, dental.

The Role - Leading provider of cutting-edge HVAC systems seeks a HVAC Design Team Manager to manage a Team of mechanical design and HVAC specification engineers. You will continue to expand the team which has been growing steadily due to this company’s success in being at the forefront of decarbonising new commercial buildings and refurbishing existing buildings by retrofit.

Experience Required - You will be an experienced mechanical HVAC engineer that has a successful career in HVAC design and specification. This could be cooling or heating so air conditioning, chillers or heat pumps. You must have a background of career progression that has gone on to managing others. The mechanical design team has been rapidly expanding with mechanical engineers to cope with the increase in standard projects but also technically specific industry engineers with different competencies e.g. central plant heating and cooling so you will be instrumental in this continued advancing talent strategy.

The Company - A global brand name in the provision of advanced energy efficient commercial HVAC. The majority of their systems are water based whether cooling or heating so they are well positioned to benefit from the changes in regulation to cut carbon emissions. Projects include offices, hotels, retail, data centres, education, universities, healthcare and hospitals along with large multi-residential buildings.

The Package - Initial indications by the client are a base package range for the HVAC Design Team Manager of between £50,000 and £60,000 with bonus - flexibility depending on your experience and suitability for the position. You will also receive a company car or car allowance, health care, dental insurance and an impressive pension plan.
