National HVAC Supplier * All levels - Graduate / Junior / Intermediate / Experienced / Advanced level HVAC Design Engineer * Home / Office Based split (hybrid working) * 9-5 Mon to Friday * £35k - £45k base salary (junior to experienced level) + £4k bonus * Training given but you must have some HVAC sizing, designing, specifying, quoting or pricing experience from either a hands-on HVAC site background with NVQ AC qualifications or mechanical engineering degree qualified background. The Role A leading HVAC supplier seeks a HVAC Design Engineer to join there select team of design engineers. You will have the opportunity of designing cooling and heating systems for the largest and most prestigious new build and refurbishment commercial and multi-residential projects. Furthermore, when not working from home you will be working in a vibrant fast paced open plan office environment, alongside other design engineers co-operating together in teams. Experience Required Ideally you will already be a design engineer or mechanical engineer within the Building Services industry specifying HVAC and air conditioning systems. It will be an advantage if you have an MEng or BEng in mechanical engineering but if come from more of a hands-on HVAC engineering background and have City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air Conditioning then please still apply. A good understanding of refrigerant circuits is required. As this is a team environment, excellent spoken and written communication skills are required. The Company A recognised global brand name in the HVAC industry that has a long history of working on many of the most prestigious commercial projects in the UK. They are at the cutting edge of low energy and low carbon sustainable cooling and heating systems for the built environment. Their commercial HVAC products include, VRV / VRF, mechanical ventilation heat recovery (MVHR), hybrid air conditioning, chillers and heat pumps from top global manufacturers. They are a recognised investor in employee development whether through further qualifications, training or leadership programs. Due to this, many of their employees have not only been with the company for extensive periods of their careers but have developed into senior engineers and managers. The Package Initial indications by the client are a base salary of range of between £35,000 and £45,000 depending on whether you are a graduate junior level or an experienced HVAC mechanical design engineer. There is also a circa £4k yearly bonus (paid quarterly and kpi’s), health care / dental insurance, pension scheme and sports / social club scheme.
