Location - Berkshire / Bucks / Surrey / South West Herts

Industry - Boilers, Air Source Heat Pumps, ASHPs, Ground Source Heat Pumps, GSHP's, Renewables, Domestic Heating, Dual Fuel, Plumbing, Electrics, Gas Boilers, Oil Burners.

Benefits - £48k - £55k, flexible overtime if desired, 42 hours a week, NO weekend rota, new van and tools.

Candidate - Experienced domestic heating engineer, ideally technician level with hands on experience servicing, fault finding and fixing on ASHP's and/or Boilers ideally with knowledge of heating and plumbing systems incorporating air source heat pumps. Plumbing and electrical training would be a benefit. Industry recognised FGAS training with a qualification will be given. Please still apply if you have limited or no ASHP experience but you are an advanced level heating technician that can strip boilers, perform/troubleshoot heating plumbing and electrics/controls to a good-high level and with qualifications/certifications.

The Position - This is a brand-new Heating Service Engineer position, working directly for one of the largest leading Heating Manufacturers in the UK, that has been created due to unprecedented growth. As the Heating Service Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining boilers and an ever increasing amount of air source heat pumps on residential housing projects both new build housing developments through house builders and social housing schemes, new build or retro fit, through local authorities and housing associations.

The Package - £48k - £55k + flexible overtime if desired (optional), 42 hours a week, NO weekend rota. Company van, Healthcare, Dental, Pension, Lunch allowance, Up to 27 days holiday + bank holidays, Industry recognised manufacturer training, Genuine potential for career advancement usually within 2 years.

Experience Required - Due to the nature of the role you must have extensive experience in plumbing and heating either install or service of domestic or commercial unvented hot water systems incorporating boilers AND/OR heat pumps - either Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP's) or Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP's) or other renewable technologies such as solar PV, heat recovery, and underfloor heating. Furthermore, recognised industry training and further education qualifications such as City & Guilds plumbing and heating, BPEC, unvented hot water systems, F-gas, boiler training, heat pumps and electrical training are an advantage. As previously mentioned, if you have no ASHP experience but are a highly experienced boiler service technician then please still apply.
