The Role
Leading global provider of warehouse management solutions requires a new Area Sales Manager to run their most lucrative patch in the North East. This unique opportunity gives you the benefit of managing a number of their key accounts but also allows you the flexibility to seek out new business in the area and take long term ownership of these new accounts.
Experience Required
You will already be a successful sales person from within the warehousing industry that has a background of consultatively selling some form of technical / technology / engineering solution into the warehousing environment. For example, current top performers come from a varied sales background covering warehouse automation, factory automation, industrial racking, materials handling, forklifts, RFID, automation and warehouse management software. It will be ideal if you have a proven background of selling into major warehousing operations e.g. logistics, manufacturing, storage, industrial, import, export and supply chain solutions providers. Furthermore, you will be a consultative sales person that does not sell on price.

An established brand name in the provision of an extensive portfolio of end-to-end warehouse automation solutions (product/hardware & software) to many of the worlds largest logistics and supply chain operations. They offer a full turn key suite of engineering and technology solutions aimed at increasing the ROI on new warehousing operations and increasing the efficiency of existing warehousing.
The Package
Initial indications by the client are a base salary of between £40,000-£50,000 basic and an achievable uncapped OTE £100,000. This is dependent on your required level of experience and previous sales performance in selling into warehousing operations. The package also includes a company car, mobile phone, laptop, private health care and pension.
