A leading Chiller Manufacturer seeks a Chiller Engineer to add to their central plant chiller cooling team. You will conduct commercial planned preventive maintenance contracts, commissioning and warranty work on commercial Chiller Systems within commercial buildings, government buildings, multi residential and critical infrastructure, both air cooled and water cooled chillers.

Desired Experience:

  • Chiller service and maintenance engineer
  • Fault find and fix
  • Chiller biased over air conditioning and refrigeration systems
  • Good knowledge on chiller controls would be an advantage
  • Experience with water based chillers, hydronic central plant cooling and/or heating

Experience Required:

  • Previous hands-on experience either installing or servicing or commissioning Chiller systems
  • Highly capable at fault find and fix
  • F-Gas, hydrocarbons, commercial HVAC, refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications / certifications and manufacturer training would be an advantage
  • Knowledgeable with or without Level 2 or Level 3 refrigeration and air conditioning certifications
  • Good knowledge of chiller controls and close control would be an advantage

The Company:

A leading chiller Manufacturer for commercial buildings and critical infrastructure that is adding to their technical chiller team due to winning both a number of large long term service contracts and new chiller installations requiring commissioning and warranty work. Their chillers are highly regarded within the industry, with an extensive portfolio that includes water cooled chillers, hydronics, close control, CRAC systems, CRAH systems and commercial heat pump systems to recover heat generated in a building and reduce its carbon footprint.

The Package:

Initial indications for the Chiller Engineer position are a base salary from £48,000 for a good level of experience up to £54,000 for a high level of experience, 37 hrs per week, overtime a company van or a car will be provided (depending on your preference) along with pension, private healthcare and dental. Furthermore, up to 27 days holiday + bank holidays. No weekend or shift work.
