The Role Business development in nature, this role requires a well-researched and highly targeted approach to identifying and engaging potential clients. Success begins with a deep understanding of the value add for industries served; Insurance, Utilities, Construction, Property Management, Infrastructure and Local Government. As the product is highly technical, you will need to become a true subject matter expert, developing an in-depth understanding of the technology, its applications and the value it delivers. The sales process is consultative and strategic, with deal cycles typically spanning 1 to 6 months. What You’ll Be Doing Expanding Business Opportunities * Identify, engage, and convert new prospects into long-term customers. * Manage the entire sales cycle—from research and lead generation to presenting tailored solutions, negotiating agreements, and closing deals. * Build and strengthen relationships with enterprise-level clients, discovering opportunities for growth and revenue expansion. Delivering Strategic Solutions * Partner with clients to deeply understand their challenges and align solutions to their specific goals, whether in risk management, property oversight, or asset tracking. * Craft custom proposals and business strategies to demonstrate clear value and ROI. * Act as a trusted partner, providing insights and recommendations that contribute to their long-term success. Driving Market Insights and Growth * Monitor industry trends, identify emerging markets, and stay ahead of competitive developments. * Collaborate with internal teams to refine solutions and ensure offerings remain cutting-edge. * Provide actionable feedback to influence product development and business strategy. Achieving Sales Excellence * Meet or exceed sales targets, including new business acquisition and existing client expansion. * Maintain an accurate sales pipeline to forecast and track performance effectively. * Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within your portfolio to maximize results.
