MPA are seeking experienced and reliable Professional Drivers with Category C or Category D licenses to join our dynamic team. As part of a team of professional drivers, you are critical to the smooth running of the operation.

Location: Belfast

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Mon – Fri

Salary: £12.75 PH

What the role entails:

  • Daily collection and conveyance of Trust clients and/or officers as allocated.
  • Collecting and conveying staff and clients for social and educational outings and during holiday trips.
  • Securing clients travelling with recommended restraint devices.
  • Assisting clients, including those using wheelchairs or walking aids, with their needs.
  • Assisting clients into and out of vehicles.
  • Providing personal assistance to clients/patients and ensuring privacy, dignity, and rights of clients.
  • Helping in the provision of individual and group programmes of care.
  • Participating in group and leisure activities.
  • Attending and contributing to reviews of clients/patients as appropriate.
  • Participating in a programme of formal supervision.
  • Being available to listen and talk to clients/patients.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC)
  • Category C / C1 or Category D License
  • Clean Full UK License, with no more than 3 points
  • Experience of Driving Commercial Vehicles (up to 7500kg)
  • A full clean driving licence (up to 3 points for minor offence may be accepted) with unrestricted codes for C1 & D (Vehicle between 3500kg and 7500kg with Trailer over 750kg with combined vehicle and trailer up to 12,000kg)
