Are you a senior Corporate Lawyer looking for a more entrepreneurial, flexible and rewarding way of practising law? We are currently working with an innovative, B-Corp accredited law firm that specialises in supporting start-ups, scale-ups, entrepreneurs, high-growth businesses and established SMEs. Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint a senior Corporate Lawyer at Legal Director level on a consultancy basis to support an existing flow of high-quality work whilst also developing their own practice.
This opportunity will appeal to experienced lawyers who enjoy working closely with founders, management teams and investors, and who are seeking a platform that combines first-class legal work with genuine flexibility and autonomy. The successful individual will advise on a broad range of corporate matters, including:
- Mergers & acquisitions (buy-side and sell-side)
- Venture capital and growth funding rounds
- Shareholders’ agreements
- Corporate restructurings and reorganisations
- Joint ventures
- Founder exits and succession matters
- SEIS and EIS-related considerations arising from investment transactions
- General corporate advisory work for entrepreneurial businesses and management teams
Alongside technical legal expertise, this role offers the opportunity to play an active part in business development, networking, client relationship management and thought leadership initiatives. Candidates are likely to demonstrate:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
- At least 10 years’ PQE gained within notable city law firms

- A commercial and pragmatic approach to client service
- Previous involvement in business development, networking and client generation activities
