A leading US-headquartered firm is looking to grow its London corporate team with the addition of a US-qualified associate. The practice is focused on advising high-growth technology and life sciences companies, bringing a distinctly Silicon Valley approach to clients across the UK and Europe. US qualification is essential. You will be admitted to a US State Bar and have a strong grounding in M&A and other strategic transactions, with experience running key aspects of deals and drafting principal transaction documents.
The work is consistently high quality and sector-driven. You will be advising innovative, venture-backed and scaling businesses β as well as their investors β on cross-border M&A, financings and exits. Much of the work involves companies at the cutting edge of technology, offering exposure to fast-evolving industries and sophisticated transactional matters.
The London team is lean and growing, offering early responsibility, direct client access and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in building out the practice. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced and entrepreneurial in feel.
Candidates should have:
- Admission to a US State Bar and a JD qualification;
- 2β6 yearsβ experience, with a clear focus on M&A or strategic transactions;
- Strong drafting skills and experience managing transaction processes;
