The Role:

  • Advising on high-value commercial agreements across technology sectors, including licensing, collaboration, supply, and distribution deals.
  • Handling IP-heavy transactions, including tech transfer and licensing, often in collaboration with leading universities, research institutions, and life sciences companies.
  • Working on complex IT and telecoms projects, such as outsourcing, software contracts, and emerging areas like FinTech, blockchain, AI, and robotics.
  • Providing data protection and GDPR compliance advice to tech clients processing vast amounts of personal data.
  • Engaging in business development, client relationships, and marketing events to support the team's growth.

About You:

  • 4+ PQE gained in a top-tier firm or leading in-house team (candidates outside this range may be considered, and New Zealand or Australian-qualified Lawyers welcome with minor PQE discount to reflect lack of/shorter training contract).
  • Strong commercial, IP, and IT law expertise, with excellent drafting skills.
  • Experience managing client relationships and handling high-value transactions.
  • A proactive, client-facing Lawyer with sound judgment and commercial awareness.
