Jameson Legal is working with a leading South East law firm looking to appoint a Corporate Knowledge Lawyer to join its highly regarded corporate practice. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced knowledge lawyer or a senior corporate solicitor who enjoys the technical side of transactional work and is looking to step into a more strategic, knowledge-focused role.
You'll work closely with the firm's senior knowledge lawyer and the head of the corporate group, supporting a team recognised for its strength in mid-market M&A, private equity, venture capital, restructurings, and corporate governance. The team's work is fast-moving and varied, with clients ranging from listed groups to privately owned and high-growth businesses.
Your role will sit at the centre of the team. You'll help maintain and develop precedents, produce guidance notes, design and deliver training, and ensure lawyers across the group are fully briefed on legal and market developments. You'll also play a key part in improving the way the team captures and shares knowledge, using technology to enhance efficiency and client service.
We're keen to speak with existing knowledge lawyers or experienced corporate solicitors (5+ PQE) who have a solid grounding in M&A and corporate advisory work. You'll need excellent drafting skills, strong attention to detail and the confidence to advise colleagues on technical issues in a clear, commercial way. A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset is essential.
The firm offers City-quality work in a genuinely supportive environment. Hybrid working is standard, with most people spending around two days each week in the office, and four-day arrangements will be considered.
A competitive salary and benefits package is available, including hybrid working, discretionary bonuses, profit share, private medical insurance, pension, enhanced parental pay, travel support and a broad wellbeing and lifestyle offering.
This is a rare opportunity to work at the heart of a market-leading corporate team, shaping its knowledge strategy and contributing to the continued success of one of the South East's standout firms.
