We are currently instructed by a specialist boutique law firm operating within the projects and construction sector across the Middle East. The firm is seeking to engage with a couple of senior Construction Litigation Lawyers on a fully remote, consultancy basis, starting immediately.

The successful consultants will be working on a significant Saudi-Arabia based construction disputes involving claims for liquidated damages and loss and expense. Prior experience advising clients across the Middle East is essential.

This role is best suited to experienced lawyers qualified in England & Wales (or another commonwealth jurisdiction like Australia and/or New Zealand, for example), with at least 8 years’ post-qualification experience and a strong track record gained within leading international or City law firms.

The position offers a flexible, non-exclusive consultancy arrangement, making it particularly attractive to lawyers already operating on a contract or portfolio basis.

Key requirements:
  • Qualification in England & Wales, Australia and/or New Zealand
  • A minimum of 8 years’ PQE with a strong focus on construction litigation and arbitration
  • Recent experience gained within a recognised international or City law firm
  • Demonstrable experience handling disputes within the Middle East construction sector
  • Strong technical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work autonomously
  • Immediate availability to undertake consultancy work on a flexible, ad hoc basis
