We are working with a notable global law firm in their search for an experienced Shipping Paralegal to join their London office on an initial 12 Month FTC. This role offers a hybrid working pattern.

The successful candidate will be working in our client's transactional shipping team. The work will involve all aspects of transactional work, including ship sale and purchase, ship and asset finance, ship building and refit/repair projects. Specific tasks will include drafting finance transaction documentation, liaising with third parties and supporting the team with preparing transactional bibles, and other general paralegal and administrative duties.
Applicants should be well educated, including a bare minimum 2:1 law degree or GDL, on top of excellent A-level grades, and they should be highly organised with excellent IT skills.
Applicants must have extensive and relevant experience gained from a well-known law firm(s), with a good general knowledge of legal and maritime technology.
Salary will be highly competitive, but dependent on level of relevant experience.
