Our client is seeking a driven Senior Associate (5-7 PQE) to join its growing Restructuring & Insolvency team in London. You will work on complex, high-profile matters, across both contentious and non-contentious mandates, advising a broad range of stakeholders. You will take on significant responsibility from day one - leading transactions, managing matters independently and collaborating across practices and jurisdictions, while contributing to business development and to the team's continued growth.
The role:
- Advising stakeholders, including insolvency office holders, lenders, directors, investors and corporates
- Leading distressed M&A transactions across a variety of sectors
- Supporting boards through financial stress, including advising on directors' duties and restructuring options
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating restructuring and insolvency documentation
- Handling appointments and related court applications
- Delivering clear, commercial advice on complex legal issues
- Supporting client development and thought leadership initiatives
About You:
- 5-7 years' PQE in Restructuring and Insolvency from a respected law firm
- Experience across contentious and non-contentious matters
- Strong technical and commercial understanding of insolvency frameworks
- Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and analyse complex information
- Aware of cross-border issues and regulatory considerations
