The Opportunity

  • A broad and visible role within an established Risk handling SARs and compliance queries.
  • Assessing and advising on conflict of interest issues arising from new instructions, clients, and lateral hires.
  • Managing enquiries from the Professional Standards inbox and assisting with internal and external audits.
  • Contributing to the development of internal policies and delivering compliance training across the firm.

About You

  • You will be legally qualified (Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX Lawyer) with approximately 3–5 years’ PQE and a solid grounding in UK regulatory requirements.
  • Above all, we are looking for someone with strong judgement, a solutions-focused mindset, and a proactive approach to risk.
  • Knowledge of SRA regulations, AML requirements, GDPR, and professional standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage confidently at all levels.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, with an interest in supporting junior colleagues.
  • Training will be provided where needed.
