We are seeking to recruit a Professional Discipline and Regulatory Solicitor (circa 3-5 years' PQE) to join a leading global law firm's Chambers and Legal 500 ranked team in Manchester, at Associate level. The Team: The team advises organisations in the healthcare, social care and education sectors on the regulatory frameworks that govern them across the UK. Its work spans compliance advice, investigations, inquests and public inquiries, alongside judicial review and tribunal proceedings, and the team works closely with colleagues in London and across the firm's wider network. The Role: You will advise clients on regulatory compliance across the UK jurisdictions and run investigations, including analysing evidence, interviewing witnesses and drafting statements. You will also carry out regulatory due diligence on acquisitions and disposals, represent clients at inquests and public inquiries, and advise on judicial review challenges and tribunal proceedings. There is real scope to raise your profile through business development and by contributing to sector publications. Key Qualifications required: Circa 3-5 years' PQE, with a sound knowledge of the UK regulatory frameworks for healthcare, social care or education Experience of conducting investigations in a relevant sector Strong analytical and drafting skills Excellent communication and team-working skills Enthusiasm for business development and networking, and for sharing knowledge through sector publications This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Solicitor to develop their career within a market-leading Professional Discipline and Regulatory practice in Manchester, with flexible hybrid working, an annual salary review, a generous bonus scheme, private medical insurance and enhanced parental leave.
