A prestigious New York–headquartered US law firm is seeking a talented Private Equity M&A Associate to join its highly regarded team in London. The team focuses exclusively on Private Equity and works across a broad range of complex transactions and sponsors.
This role offers the opportunity to join a globally integrated Private Equity platform advising leading sponsors, portfolio companies and management teams on high-profile transactions across international markets.
The role
You will work as part of a market-leading PE practice, advising sponsors and their portfolio companies on a wide range of transactions, including:
- Private Equity acquisitions and disposals
- Cross-border M&A transactions
- Portfolio company investments and exits
- Complex sponsor-led deals across multiple sectors
This is a fast-paced environment, where you will gain exposure to high-value international matters and work closely with partners and senior lawyers across the firm’s global network.
The successful candidate will:
- Be qualified in England & Wales or Scotland
- Have strong private equity experience gained at a leading law firm
- Demonstrate the ability to hit the ground running on sophisticated transactions
- Possess strong technical skills and commercial awareness
- Be comfortable working within a high-performing international team.
