Our client is looking to recruit a Planning associate to join the London Real Estate group. The Planning team is an integral part of a market-leading Real Estate practice, working on some of the most complex and innovative development projects in the UK. These include offshore wind, major urban regeneration schemes, life sciences developments, prime office buildings and large residential-led projects.
The team advises on all aspects of Planning law, including negotiations and appeals relating to planning and associated consents, the drafting and negotiation of planning and infrastructure agreements and the environmental implications of development proposals. This role offers exposure to a broad range of high-quality planning matters.
Responsibilities will include:
- Negotiating s106 agreements for large, multi-use developments
- Negotiating a range of infrastructure and development-related agreements
- Advising on community infrastructure levy and heritage constraints
- Providing strategic planning advice across a variety of development schemes, including infrastructure projects
- Supporting the transactional real estate team, including undertaking due diligence and contributing to transactional documentation.
