A leading, international law firm is looking to hire a senior legal technologist on a permanent basis.
Based in Manchester or Leeds, the main purpose of this role is to evaluate the firm's legal technology stack and work closely with the Lawyers, supporting them in adopting the right tools.
This is an interesting role where you will monitor the legal technology market and assess products and Generative AI developments, ensuring the firm maintains a clear view of where opportunities exist, and how value is being realised across the technology stack.
Main
Responsibilities: Testing out new solutions to understand capabilities.
Supporting trials and pilots of new technology.
Monitoring emerging legal technology products relevant for the firm.
Working with Lawyers and stakeholders to understand where legal technology can improve efficiency.
Developing innovative technology-enabled solutions.
Deputising for senior members of the practice innovation team when required.
Supporting strategic initiatives relating to legal technology adoption.
Providing regular feedback to team members.
Contributing to business cases and decisions.
Tracking and reporting on ROI and adoption.
Working collaboratively across internal teams.
Taking ownership of tool evaluation and market analysis.
Main experience and skills required: Strong experience in legal technology and innovation.
A strong technical aptitude and understanding of legal tech software and tools.
Experience of evaluating technology tools and supporting trials and roll outs.
Ability to assess performance and present findings.
Ability to work to tight deadlines with a sense of urgency.
A passion for innovation and understanding of how legal work is delivered.
