Jameson Legal is instructed on a new Shipping role with one of the most highly regarded firms in the field. You will work on a variety of high-quality matters, with a focus on one, or both of; Sale and purchase, shipbuilding, charterparties and other maritime contracts and projects, and/or Shipping and offshore finance, including debt, leasing and equity transactions. You will manage transactions, support partners and clients, as well as mentor junior lawyers, while contributing to the team’s growth.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years’ PQE, ideally at Senior Associate level (or equivalent).
- Strong experience in transactional shipping and relevant contracts or finance work.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills.
- Strong client relationship and business development abilities.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
