Senior M&A Associate in London

Job Description A leading international law firm is looking for a Senior Associate to join its London corporate team. The team focuses on M&A in the technology, communications and gaming sectors. Most of the deals are about the infrastructure behind these sectors: data centres, fibre and telecoms networks, and the platforms and software businesses that run on them. The team is one of the largest and best-regarded in the UK and Europe, and it's consistently ranked by Chambers and Legal 500. There's a steady flow of buy-side and sell-side M&A, growth capital and strategic investment work for private equity houses, infrastructure and institutional investors, corporates and growth companies. You'll lead transactions yourself and run teams in London and overseas, working alongside partners who only do deals in these sectors. At least 5 years' PQE in corporate M&A from a leading law firm; Ideally, deal experience in digital infrastructure, telecoms or the wider tech sector; Sound commercial judgement, and the ability to give clear, practical advice; This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious corporate lawyer who wants complex deal work and the chance to become a real specialist in a growing part of the M&A market.
