We are working with the European headquarters of a major global trading and investment group. They are adding a Senior Legal Counsel to their lean London legal team. You would support it on everything from day-to-day commercial contracts to early-stage deals, investments, governance and compliance, and help shape how the legal function develops, including its use of technology and AI.
Advising management and business teams across Europe on commercial trading, investments and strategic projects
Compliance work across competition, anti-bribery, data protection and sanctions, including policies and training
Tracking legal and regulatory developments in the UK and EU and briefing the business.
Strong Commercial Contracts experience, ideally gained in-house in an international setting
A clear communicator who can explain legal issues to non-Lawyers
In-house, regulatory or trading-sector experience is a plus, but not essential.
