An innovative, high-growth fintech and award-winning pensions provider is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its expanding in-house legal team, reporting directly to the General Counsel. This is a high-impact UK-focused role, offering genuine influence as the company continues to scale and invest in its legal function.

Acting as the primary pensions expert, advising on complex legal issues related to death benefits, transfers, customer matters, compliance, and policy development.

Drafting and updating policies, proactively managing regulatory developments, and ensuring positive engagement with the Financial Ombudsman and other regulators.

Providing commercially minded legal advice across teams, supporting clear communication and collaboration.

Playing a key part in shaping a legal team expected to grow further in the coming years.

Reporting into the General Counsel as part of an international team of four.

Anticipated future investment, with an additional Senior Counsel to join in 2026-27, and further reports expected to this role by 2028.

Qualified Solicitor with at least 8 years' PQE and strong pensions legal expertise. In-house and/or private practice backgrounds welcomed. Passionate about pensions law, proactive, and able to operate independently and collaboratively.

Hybrid working (Central London HQ). No set office requirement but c days per month expected.
