A leading international practice is seeking a high-calibre Senior Associate to join its Construction Professional Indemnity team on a 9-month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a prominent role within a market-leading disputes team, handling complex, high-value contentious construction matters for major insurers and construction professionals.
The Role
You'll take on a busy and sophisticated caseload covering all aspects of contentious construction and construction-related professional indemnity work. Expect exposure to a wide range of clients including D&B contractors, engineers, architects, project managers and surveyors.
- Managing complex construction defects, E&O, financial and coverage disputes
- Advising insurers and construction professionals on risk, claims strategy and mitigation
- Running high-value matters with autonomy
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members within a collaborative, cross-office practice
What We're Looking For
- 5+ PQE (guide only)
- Strong background in construction disputes and construction PI
- Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate
- Solid experience gained from a recognised contentious construction or insurance team
