We have been instructed on a new litigation role with a successful law firm in London. Our mid-sized client has an international network of offices and a well-established London presence. Commercial litigation is a core area for the firm, and they are now actively looking to hire into this team.
You will be joining a well-structured team, with a balanced mix of partners and associates. This offers the opportunity to work closely with partners while collaborating with colleagues at a similar level of experience.
The role will focus on complex, high-value commercial litigation, principally supporting three partners in the team. Areas of work will include general cross-border contractual disputes, corporate matters (including shareholder disputes), fraud, and professional negligence. Experience in arbitration would be advantageous, as there may be some exposure to this area, but it is not essential. There will be genuine client contact and a high level of responsibility from an early stage.
We are considering lawyers with between two and five years' PQE (or equivalent). Candidates may come from leading City firms, top-tier litigation boutiques, or tier-one national firms, provided they have strong experience in high-value commercial disputes. Applicants must have a stable career history, experience across a range of matters, a track record of taking on responsibility, and excellent drafting skills.
What sets this firm apart is its good work/life balance for a firm of this calibre, combined with the high-quality exposure to top-tier clients at this stage of your litigation career.
