Jameson Legal is working with a highly respected South East law firm that has one of the leading private client practices outside London. The firm is now looking to appoint a Knowledge Lawyer to support its wellâestablished Tax & Trusts team. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced private client solicitor to step into a knowledge role, or for an existing Knowledge Lawyer seeking a broader and more visible position within a topâtier team.
The group advises an impressive mix of UK and international clients, including wealthy families, entrepreneurs, trustees, and family offices, handling sophisticated tax, trust, and estate planning matters. The Knowledge Lawyer will play a central role in developing and maintaining the team's knowhow, precedents, and training. You will also help deliver internal projects that enhance client service and improve efficiency, as well as keep the team up to date with legal developments and best practice.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years' PQE with strong private client experience, ideally covering UK tax and estate planning, trusts, and asset structures. International experience and STEP membership would be advantageous, but not essential. You will be confident, approachable, and collaborative, with excellent drafting, communication, and organisational skills.
This position can be offered on a fullâtime or partâtime basis (minimum three days per week), with hybrid working typically two days in the office. The firm is known for combining highâquality work with a genuinely supportive culture, providing an inclusive, flexible, and engaging place to develop your career.
A competitive salary and benefits package is on offer, including hybrid working, discretionary bonuses, profit share, private medical insurance, pension, enhanced parental pay, travel support, and a comprehensive wellbeing and lifestyle package. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly regarded private client team, working at the heart of a progressive firm and contributing directly to its continued success.
