Employment Solicitor - Associate/Senior Associate in London

Job Description

An established and highly regarded London law firm is looking to appoint an employment Solicitor at Associate or Senior Associate level. The position is open to Lawyers with at least two years' post-qualification experience and offers a broad mix of advisory, contentious and transactional employment work.
The role:
You will advise employers and senior individuals on employment matters, from sensitive workplace issues and strategic HR advice to disputes before employment tribunals and the courts. The practice also handles executive service agreements, workplace policies, reorganisations and redundancies, alongside employment input on corporate transactions, including due diligence.
Depending on experience, you will manage matters and client relationships, work alongside colleagues on more complex instructions and contribute to the development of Junior Lawyers. There is scope to participate in networking and business development, but an existing client following is not required.
About you:
You will have at least two years' PQE in employment law, gained through strong training and relevant private practice experience. A combination of contentious and non-contentious work is important, ideally including advice to both businesses and senior employees. Sound judgement, clear drafting, discretion and a practical approach to client service will be valued.
The opportunity:
The position offers varied employment instructions and direct exposure to clients within an established specialist team. The package includes 28 days' annual leave, pension provision, private medical and other insurance benefits, wellbeing support and discretionary bonus arrangements. Remuneration will be considered according to experience.
