Our client’s Employment team is seeking a commercially-minded and collaborative Senior Associate to join the highly regarded practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive team, advising high-profile clients across a diverse range of sectors, including financial services, professional services, construction, transportation, retail, education, and energy.
You will play a key role in delivering expert advice on the full spectrum of Employment law matters – both contentious and non-contentious – to major UK and international clients. The role offers a varied and high-quality workload, including:
- Advising on complex Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation (e.g. discrimination, whistleblowing, unfair dismissal, breach of contract, business protection)
- Supporting day-to-day HR and employee relations issues (e.g. contracts, policies, grievances, disciplinaries, performance management)
- Leading employment aspects of corporate transactions, TUPE transfers, restructures, and outsourcing projects
- Coordinating international advice on cross-border matters and supporting multinational transactions
- Providing commercially focused guidance on strategic workforce issues and senior exits.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong Employment law experience (both contentious and advisory)
- Proven ability to manage Employment Tribunal litigation through to resolution
- Experience supporting M&A deals, TUPE processes, and restructures
- Skilled in drafting contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
- Experience advising clients in regulated sectors is highly desirable
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers.
