An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Competition Associate with 2-4 years’ PQE at an elite US law firm based in London. The team advises leading financial institutions and multinational corporates across a wide range of industries, including technology, digital markets, private equity, financial services, and energy.
This broad role will involve working on high-value transactional antitrust matters, including M&A and restructurings, as well as UK and EU merger control and foreign investment filings. You will gain early exposure to clients and significant responsibility, while working alongside top-ranked partners and a highly regarded international team.

About You:
- 2-4 years’ PQE solicitor qualified in England & Wales.
- Strong competition/antitrust experience from a leading international law firm.
- Demonstrated expertise in transactional antitrust, particularly in M&A and restructurings.
- Experience advising on UK/EU merger control and foreign investment matters, including multi-jurisdictional filings.
- Excellent academic credentials, with postgraduate competition/antitrust studies desirable.
- Commercially minded, proactive, and confident working directly with corporate partners and international clients.
- Additional foreign language skills and EU FSR experience are advantageous but not essential.
