Litigation lawyer - 3 PQE - Jersey

A highly-regarded offshore law firm client is looking to recruit a litigation lawyer into its rated disputes practice. The team handles complex, high-value litigation with an international dimension, regularly working alongside leading onshore firms, counsel and advisers across multiple jurisdictions. You will gain exposure to a varied caseload of commercial and contentious offshore matters, including complex commercial and contractual disputes, trusts litigation and insolvency cases. You will work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers while taking increasing responsibility for your own matters and client relationships. The client base includes financial institutions, fiduciary and trust businesses, international corporates and private clients. About you Ideally 3-5 PQE with a solid grounding in commercial litigation Experience gained with a strong City, national, regional or offshore firm, or at the Bar Qualified in England & Wales, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa Offshore experience is not required, making this an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to make their first move into the offshore market Exposure to complex commercial disputes, insolvency, fraud, trusts or financial services litigation would be particularly relevant Keen to develop a long-term career in Jersey and take on greater responsibility as your experience develops Package The firm offers a highly competitive salary and bonus package, together with the benefits of Jersey's 20% personal income tax rate.
