We are instructed on a new 3+ PQE associate role in our client's Leveraged Finance team in London. You will join a leading Leveraged Finance practice advising on complex, often cross-border financing transactions for private equity sponsors, banks, private credit funds and corporate borrowers.
Work includes:
- Leveraged and acquisition financings
- Refinancings, recapitalisations, and syndicated lending
- Acting for both sponsor and lender clients
- Multi-jurisdictional transactions with complex structures
The Banking & Finance practice is a core strength, acting for a wide range of financial institutions, asset managers and corporates across industries. As transactions become more complex and global, its international platform allows the firm to deliver integrated solutions across jurisdictions and product areas.
Responsibilities:
- Advising on leveraged and acquisition finance transactions
- Drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security documents and intercreditor arrangements
- Managing deals from inception to closing
- Working with global teams on cross-border matters
- Supporting client relationships and business development
About you:
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 3+ years' PQE
- Strong leveraged finance experience (essential)
- Experience in cross-border transactions
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and technical skills
- Experience in a highly ranked practice
