The role offers exposure to a broad range of regulatory, policy and onboarding work, with clear scope for long-term progression in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory & Policy: Conducting research on regulatory developments and translating findings into clear internal guidance; Supporting the development and maintenance of policies, controls and procedures; Assisting in responding to internal compliance queries and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Onboarding & AML: Carrying out client due diligence (CDD) and risk assessments; Supporting enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes for higher-risk matters; Assisting in managing onboarding workflows and shared compliance inbox.
  • Compliance & Risk Support: Supporting firm-wide risk and compliance initiatives and projects; Assisting with internal reviews, monitoring and other ad hoc compliance activities; Maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to internal processes.
  • Training & Stakeholder Engagement: Supporting delivery of compliance training and awareness initiatives; Building effective relationships with internal stakeholders across the firm; Acting as a reliable point of contact for compliance-related matters.
  • Operational Support: Providing general administrative support to the compliance function; Contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day compliance operations.

Requirements:

  • Law degree desirable or experience of working for a law firm.
  • Demonstrable interest in compliance, regulation or risk.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret complex information and apply sound judgement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn.
  • Team-oriented with a professional and collaborative approach.
