Job Description
We are working with a leading ALSP to offer an exciting interim assignment with a global payments and credit business. The role is ideally suited to an experienced Consumer Credit & Retail Finance Lawyer seeking a short-term opportunity to contribute to a high-profile in-house team.
You will be supporting the UK Products Legal Team with an increased workload, advising on a wide range of matters including:
- Consumer credit issues relating to credit card products and services.
- Third-party supplier arrangements connected to retail finance.
- Regulatory considerations around running account credit, including application of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and other relevant UK/global payment regimes.
We are looking for a qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with:
- 5+ years' PQE in consumer credit and retail finance law.
- Solid knowledge of UK regulatory regimes (and awareness of global frameworks).
- Experience from a top law firm and/or in-house financial services environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Availability to commit to a short-term assignment starting September 2025.
Contract Details:
- Start Date: September 2025 (ASAP)
- Duration: Until December 2025 (approx. 3-4 months)
- Working Pattern: Full-time, hybrid (2 days per week in London office)
