Job Description A Legal 500 law firm is seeking a solicitor to join its dispute resolution practice, with a focus on contentious property matters. The position is based in the Hampshire office and offers hybrid working. You will advise on a varied mix of real estate disputes, working alongside experienced litigators while gradually taking greater ownership of your matters. Work may encompass commercial lease disputes, property ownership and occupation issues, rights of way and restrictive covenants, boundaries, trespass, adverse possession and possession proceedings. There is scope to develop your own caseload and client relationships with appropriate supervision. Experience of two to five years would be particularly relevant, but newly qualified solicitors with a suitable litigation seat are encouraged to apply. Exposure to property disputes is helpful, although broader commercial litigation experience combined with a clear interest in this area will also be considered. Sound drafting and analytical skills, commercial judgement and an approachable, collaborative manner are important. The position offers close contact with senior lawyers, varied contentious property work and the opportunity to build a specialist practice. Jameson Legal acts as an employment business for temporary recruitment and as an employment agency for fixed term contract and permanent recruitment.
