Commercial Litigation Solicitor in Hampshire

Hampshire | £50,000-£60,000 | Hybrid working Exclusive to Jameson Legal An established Hampshire law firm is looking to strengthen its commercial disputes team with the appointment of a Junior Solicitor. The position offers exposure to a broad caseload, close involvement with experienced colleagues and scope to assume greater responsibility as your experience develops. The role: The team advises on contractual disputes, shareholder and partnership issues, and professional negligence claims. You will contribute to more complex litigation while taking responsibility for work suited to your level of qualification. Client communication and involvement in case strategy form an important part of the opportunity. The candidate: Applications are welcomed from newly qualified Solicitors with a substantial litigation seat and Lawyers with approximately two years' PQE. Commercial disputes experience is desirable, but a broader contentious background will also be considered where there is a genuine interest in developing this specialism. Clear communication, sound organisation and an interest in building client relationships will be important. There is flexibility on qualification level for relevant experience. The opportunity: The indicative salary is £50,000 for a newly qualified Solicitor, rising to £60,000 for an appropriately experienced candidate at around two years' PQE. Hybrid working is available, although regular attendance at the office will be particularly important initially.
