Our client is a highly regarded commercial law firm in the South East that has an exceptional reputation for high-quality transactional work. The firm is seeking an ambitious and technically strong Corporate Associate (2-4 PQE) to join its established corporate practice based in Surrey.
This is an outstanding opportunity to handle sophisticated, high-value corporate transactions outside the City, within a firm that offers genuine career progression, close partner access, and a collaborative, well-supported environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of corporate matters, including mid-market M&A (buy and sell side), private equity and venture capital transactions, corporate reorganisations and restructurings, joint ventures, and shareholders' agreements, as well as general corporate advisory work.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with market-leading partners on transactions for a diverse client base, including large corporates, PE-backed businesses, and high-growth companies. The firm's corporate team is consistently recognised for the quality and depth of its work and has a strong track record of complex, cross-border transactions.
This is a role that offers early responsibility, strong partner mentorship, and regular client exposure. It is ideally suited to an associate who enjoys a mix of transactional and advisory work and wants to build long-term client relationships.
Applications are welcomed from Corporate Associates with 2-4 years' PQE gained at a recognised City, national, or leading regional firm. You will have strong technical ability, excellent drafting and communication skills, and a commercial, solutions-focused approach.
This position would suit someone seeking top-quality work combined with a genuinely balanced culture. The firm offers a strong sense of teamwork, flexibility, and a supportive environment in which you can develop both professionally and personally.
The Firm
The firm is consistently ranked as one of the top full-service practices in the South East, recognised for combining City-level expertise with a collegiate, forward-thinking culture. It offers the sophistication of a London practice, but with the accessibility, flexibility, and quality of life that comes with a regional base. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Corporate Associate to take the next step in their career with a leading South East firm, working on top-quality transactions in a progressive and supportive setting.
